- In June in conjunction with GMAI Testing Month, Asia-Pacific Media AIDS Initiative (AMAI) members aired twenty new pieces focusing on HIV testing. The productions developed out of a workshop hosted in Kuala Lumpur last December. Many of these programs will soon be available on DVD for GMAI member companies.

- The Caribbean Broadcast Media Partnership on HIV/AIDS (CBMP) and ScotiaBank, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health in the participating territories, developed a new regional HIV testing pilot program that culminated with on-site HIV testing at local branches of ScotiaBank on June 27.
